IDR is seeking a Application Engineer (React Native) to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Cary, NC or Overland Park, KS. This role is focused on developing and maintaining mobile applications using React Native within a dynamic digital products environment, offering the chance to work on innovative solutions in the tech space.
Position Overview for the Application Engineer (React Native):
- Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications using React Native
- Help establish and mature React Native standards, patterns, and best practices
- Build high-quality, accessible user interfaces with a strong focus on performance and usability
- Collaborate closely with UX designers to implement consistent mobile and web experience
- Contribute to backend services written in TypeScript and integrate applications with cloud-based services
Requirements for the Application Engineer (React Native):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–6 years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience building mobile applications with React Native
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript
- Experience working with React for web applications
