Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Network Systems Administrator:
- Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN, internet systems, computers, and mobile devices
- Manage and monitor network/system performance; perform upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues; escalate to vendors as needed
- Design, test, and maintain networking hardware, software, and scripts (e.g., PowerShell)
- Create documentation and user instructions for system operations and upgrades
- Recommend and implement improvements to systems and network infrastructure
- Provide after-hours support for monthly firewall updates
Required Skills for Network Systems Administrator:- 3+ years of experience in:
- Microsoft Azure, M365, Server, Active Directory administration
- SharePoint Online support
- 2+ years of VMware and network administration
- Strong scripting skills and documentation experience
- Proficiency in ManageEngine, Net App, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 Administration
- Strong experience in PowerShell Scripting and Active Directory
- Experience in setting up and validating disaster recovery plans, including backups, for a mixed cloud/on-prem environment
