IDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an on-site opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role involves reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs within a dynamic environment, supporting business process reengineering, and identifying new technology applications to enhance operations.
Position Overview for the Business Analyst:
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
- Formulate systems to align with overall business strategies.
- Experience with business process reengineering and applying technology solutions.
- Prepare solution options, conduct risk assessments, and perform financial analyses such as ROI and cost/benefit.
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps to develop or modify computer programs.
Requirements for the Business Analyst:
- Extensive experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs.
- Thorough understanding of business analysis knowledge areas and associated activities.
- Experience participating in software development reviews and providing advice on analysis, design, and testing.
- Experience performing or supporting unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong planning and organization skills to manage multiple assignments accurately.
