Position Overview for the Business Analyst:
- Work on a major system modernization project for building a new Medicaid application.
- Provide project and product oversight for Medicaid IT-Contracted Systems efforts and integrated projects.
- Support documentation, process creation, and delivery of application functionality.
- Assist in creating processes to ensure a consistent understanding and approach aligned with agency direction.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and system integration.
Requirements for the Business Analyst:
- 8+ years of experience coordinating with outside vendors, developing project artifacts, analyzing systems, and managing project scope.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, support solution implementations, and perform risk analysis.
- Experience in analyzing policies, procedures, and standards affecting automated systems.
- Strong understanding of enterprise system components, including user interfaces, data layers, and integrations.
- Preferred experience using TFS, working in an Agile environment, and familiarity with Texas Medicaid and CHIP systems.
