IDR is seeking a Claims Authorization Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lehi, UT. This role is part of a dynamic claims operations team within a service-focused industry, supporting claim adjudication processes to ensure accurate coverage validation and customer communication.
Position Overview for the Claims Authorization Specialist:
- Support the Claims Operation channel through the claim adjudication journey.
- Interpret terms and conditions to validate contractual obligations of coverage.
- Respond to high volumes of claim authorization requests professionally and efficiently.
- Analyze claims by evaluating diagnosis, product details, and tenure to determine eligibility.
- Process cash-settlement offers, dispatch requests, enforce contractor agreements, and communicate outcomes with homeowners.
Requirements for the Claims Authorization Specialist:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in claims authorization or contact center environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Ability to interpret and evaluate contract language related to claim coverage.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
