IDR is seeking a Cloud Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. This role involves designing and developing solutions to complex business problems using cloud technologies, with a focus on enterprise cloud architecture and cloud-native strategies across various platform types. The company operates within the healthcare/philanthropy sector, providing innovative solutions to support their mission.
Position Overview for the Cloud Architect:
- Provide strategic consultation to IT teams and leaders regarding cloud infrastructure and application development.
- Lead the design and development of architecture using AWS services, promoting a cloud-native strategy.
- Develop strategies for data movement from on-premise to cloud environments.
- Support Generative AI initiatives, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with security, data, and application teams to align AI workloads with enterprise standards and governance.
Requirements for the Cloud Architect:
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, network engineering, or system administration with enterprise IT.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts including service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), deployment models (public, private, hybrid, multi-cloud), and security.
- Proficiency in at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with various stakeholders and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
