Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Commercial Patient Account Representative II :

- Serve as a key player in the commercial payor hospital collections processes
- Utilize critical thinking skills to research, review, and follow-up on all accounts
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, resolving patient, billing, and/or collection issues in a timely manner
- Contribute to departmental enhancements by suggesting improvements to current policies, procedures, and practices
- Ensure correct hospital reimbursement by reviewing billing and collection notes in the financial computer system
- This is a 2-month contract position
- High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associates degree or Medical Field Certificate is highly preferred

Required Skills for Commercial Patient Account Representative II :

- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Commercial payor hospital collections processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service abilities
- Ability to analyze documentation and resolve issues appropriately and timely
- Experience in Accounts Payable
- Bi-lingual skills and knowledge of medical terminology and coding are preferred

Compensation Details: $35-38/hr W2
