IDR is seeking a Conventions Coordinator II to join one of our top clients in a part-time capacity in Auburn, MA.
This role involves coordinating and managing various events, including conventions, product showcases, and educational exhibits, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish. The company specializes in medical equipment and healthcare industry events, providing critical support to their internal teams and clients.
Position Overview for the Conventions Coordinator II:
- Responsible for managing the complete process of event creation, from ordering to follow-up and cleanup
- Coordinates with marketing, sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure inventory and event supplies are on schedule and meet quality standards
- Tracks events using SAP and other systems, maintaining inventory accuracy and reporting on logistics status
- Acts as a point of contact for internal customers, offering guidance and consultation on event planning and inventory management
- Ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout all event processes
Requirements for the Conventions Coordinator II:
- High school diploma required; additional education or certifications preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in high-volume customer service or order management roles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; experience with SAP or Microsoft Access highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple events simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
