IDR is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in La Porte, Texas. This role is situated within a utility and energy industry setting, supporting internal sales teams and third-party brokers to facilitate commercial agreements. The position offers a dynamic environment focused on client interaction and operational accuracy.
Position Overview for the Customer Service Representative:
- Support internal sales, pricing analysts, and third-party brokerage partners to enhance business development for commercial agreements.
- Handle daily communications with internal teams and external clients through email, instant messaging, and phone calls.
- Process commercial contracts accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is included.
- Respond diplomatically to inquiries and resolve issues related to energy transactions.
- Utilize various software systems and portals to support operational activities and special assignments.
Requirements for the Customer Service Representative:
- 2+ years experience working directly with customers in problem solving, issues resolution, or related roles.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent math and English skills.
- Basic PC skills with an understanding of Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good judgment and decision-making ability.
