IDR is seeking a Data Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role involves working with a dynamic team of data professionals to provide business intelligence, clinical, and operational analytics that support patient-centered care and operational efficiency within a healthcare organization. The company operates in the healthcare industry, focusing on data-driven solutions to improve clinical outcomes.
Position Overview for the Data Analyst:
- Collaborate with a team of data analysts, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, and data scientists to deliver insights and analytics.
- Organize, analyze, and report on large data sets from EHR, clinical, financial, and enrollment sources.
- Serve as an Epic subject matter expert for front and back-end reporting development.
- Assist in designing and validating DataMarts, dashboards, and other data systems to support network-wide clinical and operational goals.
- Contribute to performance improvement initiatives through advanced data analysis and reporting.
Requirements for the Data Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, finance, business, accounting, science, healthcare, social science, mathematics, or any field conducive to critical and analytical thinking skills.
- 2 years of experience in healthcare, statistics, experimental research, data science, reporting and analytics, economics, or public health.
- 2 years’ experience in using SQL or Python scripting for database queries.
- Nice to Have: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or the ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of employment.
- Experience developing timeliness and work plans for data collection activities.
