IDR is seeking a Data Center Technician II to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Irving, Texas. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for maintaining and supporting enterprise infrastructure within a dynamic data center environment. The company operates within the technology and data management industry, focusing on delivering reliable and efficient data center services.
Position Overview for the Data Center Technician II:
- Support and maintain enterprise-level data center operations, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Assist in hardware troubleshooting, installation, and replacement of server and networking equipment.
- Collaborate with system administrators and engineering teams to resolve infrastructure issues promptly.
- Participate in routine preventive maintenance and on-call support as required.
- Monitor system performance using enterprise monitoring tools and escalate issues as needed.
Requirements for the Data Center Technician II:
- Associate’s Degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of systems administration or infrastructure support experience
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft or Linux Windows Server environments
- Experience supporting enterprise monitoring tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills across OS, application, and infrastructure layers
