IDR is seeking a Data Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Greenwood Village, CO. This role involves working within a fast-paced telecommunications industry environment, focusing on big data processing, cost optimization, and enhancing data pipeline efficiency. Position Overview for the Data Engineer:
- Monitor and maintain ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Develop automated monitoring systems for data pipelines
- Architect and integrate new datasets into existing structures for improved analytics
- Optimize AWS-based data jobs for performance and cost efficiency
- Conduct code reviews and establish best practices for the team
Requirements for the Data Engineer:
- Experience working with Data Lake environments, not RDBMS
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark/Scala for data ingestion and transformation
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, EMR, Step Functions, and Airflow
- Ability to troubleshoot data issues and improve existing processes
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Compensation Details: $70-73/hr W2
