IDR is seeking a Enterprise Wi-Fi Performance Engineer to join one of our top clients. This role involves optimizing and supporting large-scale wireless networks within a leading enterprise environment. The organization operates at the forefront of telecommunications, focusing on delivering high-performance wireless solutions to enterprise clients.
Position Overview for the Enterprise Wi-Fi Performance Engineer:
- Support the performance tuning and optimization of large-scale Wi-Fi and RAN environments
- Conduct network analysis, troubleshooting, and validation activities to ensure optimal wireless performance
- Collaborate with engineering teams on performance enhancements and new technology evaluations
- Work independently managing complex wireless environments, including 5G and enterprise Wi-Fi
- Support environments supporting millions of access points and users, ensuring scalability and reliability
Requirements for the Enterprise Wi-Fi Performance Engineer:
- 5 - 10+ years of experience in wireless performance engineering or network optimization
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Wi-Fi environments (Wi-Fi 4/5/6/7)
- Experience with RAN (Radio Access Network) performance and optimization
- Experience performing network performance analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Experience conducting field testing and validating real-world wireless network performance
