IDR is seeking a Help Desk Support II to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software to internal and external users within a government-related organization. The position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment focused on end-user support, incident management, and maintaining technical documentation.
Position Overview for the Help Desk Support II :
- Provide technical support to internal and external system users via email and calls
- Assist with incident management, issue testing, and validation activities
- Maintain and update technical documentation and issue tracking systems such as Salesforce Helpdesk and Jira
- Manage support requests, assign incident work items, and generate reports for interested groups
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues efficiently
Requirements for the Help Desk Support II :
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Accurate, thorough, and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
