IDR is seeking a Insurance Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Pennsylvania. This role involves managing and ensuring compliance with various insurance processes within a prominent organization, focusing on non-life insurance operations, claims, and risk management activities.
Position Overview for the Insurance Specialist:
- Manage and oversee all insurance-related processes, procedures, and annual activities for the country in a timely and effective manner while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Ensure compliance with all local mandatory insurance requirements and applicable legislation
- Manage and track claims effectively.
- Communicate and coordinate internally with stakeholders and follow up on documentation and required information
- Handle claims independently with minimal oversight.
Requirements for the Insurance Specialist:
- 5+ years of experience handling workers’ compensation claims.
- Strong background in California workers’ compensation.
- Experience managing high-volume claims workloads (several hundred claims at a time).
- Knowledge of workers’ compensation best practices and claim lifecycle management.
