Position Overview/Responsibilities for the IT Business Analyst:
- Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and stakeholders to evaluate and document existing business processes.
- Identify gaps and gather business requirements to enhance current workflows.
- Support requirements documentation, modeling, and diagramming, as well as UAT planning and coordination.
- Lead working sessions and ask probing questions to clarify unclear workflows.
- Hybrid schedule with onsite presence required at least two days a week.
Required Skills for IT Business Analyst:
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, with at least 2 years on IT projects.
- Experience in state government or public sector projects.
- Proficiency in gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements.
- Strong skills in mapping and analyzing existing processes.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions and requirements workshops.
- Familiarity with process diagramming and business modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.
