IDR is seeking a IT Field Support Technician to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Norcross, Georgia. This role involves ongoing maintenance and support of clinical hardware across multiple hospitals and ambulatory sites in the Atlanta area. The organization operates within the healthcare industry, emphasizing patient care and health technology integration.
Position Overview for the IT Field Support Technician:
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair of WOW carts and associated hardware at hospital and outpatient clinical sites.
- Perform onsite tasks such as locating carts, oiling parts, cleaning cables, and replacing legacy parts as needed.
- Update and track maintenance activities using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
- Travel regularly among multiple healthcare sites within the Atlanta area to perform scheduled and corrective maintenance.
Requirements for the IT Field Support Technician:
- Experience working with WOW carts or similar clinical hardware such as PCs, monitors, batteries, and scanners.
- Ability to perform basic hardware maintenance including cleaning, replacing parts, and cable management.
- Previous experience operating in hospital or clinical environments, with comfort working in patient care areas.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel frequently across multiple hospital sites.
- Proficiency in using ticketing/asset management systems such as ServiceNow to document work.
