IDR is seeking a IT Security Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, Colorado. This role involves ensuring the effectiveness of security controls, educating staff on security policies, monitoring compliance, and investigating security incidents. The company operates within the healthcare industry, providing critical cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive information.
Position Overview for the IT Security Analyst:
- Responsible for verifying that technical controls align with information security policies
- Conducts security policy education, training, and awareness activities
- Monitors compliance with security policies and applicable laws
- Coordinates investigation and reporting of security incidents
- Supports threat hunting and cyber investigations using endpoint and network security tools
Requirements for the IT Security Analyst:
- 5 years of experience in an IT role with 3 years of IT Security experience
- Experience with Anti-malware, EDR/XDR, and similar platforms
- Experience with threat hunting and cyber investigations
- Experience with endpoint and network security monitoring
- Solid skills with Windows and Linux operating systems
