IDR is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves providing technical support for SMB clients, managing on-site and remote troubleshooting, and maintaining client relationships within a flexible work environment. The organization is a managed services provider specializing in diverse technology stacks for small to medium-sized businesses.
Position Overview for the IT Support Engineer :
- Act as the primary technical resource for SMB clients, resolving various hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide remote support with occasional onsite visits in Williamson County.
- Manage firewalls, Windows servers, Active Directory, Office 365, and other endpoint devices.
- Collaborate with a corporate technical team to escalate and resolve complex challenges.
- Maintain excellent client communication and ensure service level agreements are met.
Requirements for the IT Support Engineer :
- Experience supporting Windows-based servers, desktops, and networking.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and basic firewall management (Fortinet preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including network issues and hardware repairs.
- Excellent communication skills, professional presentation, and client-facing ability.
- Must be local to the Nashville metropolitan area, with the ability to travel to onsite client locations as needed.
- MSP experience is a plus.
