IDR is seeking a Java Production Support Engineer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting a large-scale enterprise application within the retirement and wealth management domain, currently transitioning from development into production operations. The company is undergoing a major platform transformation from mainframe systems to AWS cloud, requiring strong technical support during this evolution.
Position Overview for the Java Production Support Engineer:
- Provide technical support for enterprise-level applications, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Analyze and resolve complex production incidents escalated from Tier 1 support.
- Perform root cause analysis across application code, data inconsistencies, system integrations, and business processes.
- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to resolve data-related issues.
- Support ongoing system stability, performance improvements, and cloud migration efforts.
Requirements for the Java Production Support Engineer:
- 3+ years of hands-on Java development experience with active coding skills.
- Experience with Spring Boot framework.
- Ability to troubleshoot across full-stack application environments.
- Proven experience working in production support or high-availability environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose complex issues.
