IDR is seeking a Lead Network Security Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Norcross, GA. This role supports the design and deployment of advanced enterprise network solutions within a technology-driven environment focused on security and scalability.
Position Overview for the Lead Network Security Engineer:
- Design, architect, and deliver scalable, secure enterprise network solutions.
- Act as a senior technical authority and customer-facing subject matter expert, supporting complex network buildouts, strategic upgrades, and consulting engagements.
- Lead evaluation, testing, and deployment of core network technologies.
- Define and enforce network architecture standards and best practices.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for mission-critical network and security upgrades.
Requirements for the Lead Network Security Engineer:
- 15+ years of enterprise or carrier network engineering experience.
- Expert-level experience with Palo Alto and Cisco Firepower.
- Expert-level experience with Cisco ISE and/or Aruba ClearPass.
- Strong experience with SASE and SSE architectures.
- Deep understanding of routing, switching, network security, and the OSI model.
