Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Managed Care Analyst:

Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts related to payer revenue and costs. Create and distribute recurring dashboards and reports on payer performance, utilization, and reimbursement. Conduct trend and variance analysis to identify patterns by payer, service line, site, product, and more. Perform ad-hoc analyses to support leadership and affiliate administration. Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for decision-making.

Required Skills for Managed Care Analyst:

Experience in analyzing payer performance in a healthcare setting, either provider or health plan. Proficiency in building and interpreting financial models and forecasts. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and patterns in data. Excellent communication skills to convey data-driven insights effectively. Familiarity with key performance indicators such as denial rate, first-pass yield, and payer mix.
