IDR is seeking a Media Technician 1 to join one of our top clients in Nashville. This role involves participating in all activities necessary for pre-production, production, and post-production of meetings, events, and special projects. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Media Technician 1:

- Participate in the recording of business meetings for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.
- Handle all aspects of field production, including transportation, setup, and operation of camera equipment, audio devices, lighting fixtures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to contribute to preproduction tasks, such as developing project outlines, scripts, shot sheets, and scheduling logistics.
- Apply knowledge of lighting principles, including the implementation of 3- point lighting setups, to enhance visual quality and create the desired atmosphere for video productions.
- Participate in post-production activities, including footage review, editing, audio adjustment, color correction, and finalizing projects using relevant software tools and techniques.

Required Skills for Media Technician 1:

- 2+ years of experience using videography, lighting, audio, and associated software tools necessary in the development and cablecast of video programs.
- Valid Class D Drivers License.
- Experience in multi-camera productions.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating camera, audio, and lighting equipment on location.
- Familiarity with video editing software and 3-point lighting setups.
- Experience with managing audio levels during a shoot.
- Experience in pre-production tasks like creating shot sheets or schedules.
- Ability to troubleshoot video, lighting, or audio equipment during a shoot.
- Comfortable reviewing and editing footage after a shoot.
- Experience maintaining production equipment and making sure it stays in good working condition.
