IDR is excited to announce an opportunity for a Network Security Analyst to join our esteemed client's team in Atlanta, GA. You will be a part of a team that is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of core network components—including switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, data centers, and VOIP systems—and plays a key role in cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
This will be a hybrid model in Atlanta, GA (3 days per week onsite / 2 remote)!
Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Network Security Analyst:
- Design, implement, and support network security infrastructure
- Maintain network performance, availability, and security
- Monitor and troubleshoot network issues and service disruptions
- Manage upgrades, patches, and automated backups
- Support cybersecurity, compliance, and disaster recovery efforts
- Handle incident, change, and problem management
- Deploy and support SD-WAN and monitoring tools (e.g., Cisco ThousandEyes)
Required Skills for Network Security Analyst:
- 3+ years professional Networking Security experience
- Strong experience utilizing monitoring tools (ex: Cisco ThousandEyes)
- Proficiency managing switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Fortinet SD-WAN experience
