IDR is seeking a Program Lead to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in San Francisco, CA. This role involves supporting a critical healthcare project within a leading organization’s commercial practice, focusing on product strategy, cross-functional delivery, and stakeholder management. The position requires onsite presence in San Francisco and offers a chance to lead impactful digital initiatives.
Position Overview for the Program Lead:
- Own product vision and strategy: define the product north star, outcomes, and multi-quarter roadmap aligned to business goals and value drivers.
- Lead cross-functional delivery across a portfolio/workstreams: partner with project managers (PMs), workstream leads, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to build and maintain an integrated plan with clear milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Serve as primary product point of contact (POC): provide single-point accountability for product decisions, priorities, scope, and tradeoffs across stakeholders.
- Establish operating cadence and governance: run intake and prioritization, roadmap and release reviews, decision forums, and contribute to weekly program/status reporting; escalate as needed through governance.
- Manage end-to-end prioritization and backlog health: maintain a prioritized backlog across teams/workstreams, balancing business value, risk, dependencies, and capacity; lead backlog refinement and ensure readiness standards are met.
Requirements for the Program Lead:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years leading digital product management for consumer-facing web and/or mobile products.
- Experience in healthcare product and program delivery in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Strong agile product delivery capability: roadmaps, backlogs, discovery, release planning, and operating rhythms (Scrum / Scaled Agile).
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and make tradeoffs using data, customer insight, and business outcomes.
