IDR is seeking a Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. This role supports the development and delivery of marketing projects, utilizing both traditional project management and Agile frameworks to drive cross-functional teams.
Position Overview for the Project Manager:
- Manages multiple marketing projects through all phases of the project management life cycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develops clear project goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Employs agile principles such as Scrum and Kanban to enable adaptive and iterative project workflows.
- Utilizes project management tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Ziflow to track progress, manage tasks, and maintain communication.
- Communicates effectively with stakeholders, content strategists, and cross-functional teams to ensure project success and transparency.
Requirements for the Project Manager:
- Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 4 years of project management experience.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, including Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
- Versatile background supporting creative, content, production, product, IT, and analytics teams.
- Proven ability to manage projects using Jira and Smartsheets.
- Strong skills in business writing, stakeholder management, process improvement, and public speaking.
