IDR is seeking a React Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lansing, MI. This role involves supporting a state government project focused on infrastructure. The position offers an exciting chance to contribute to large-scale, mission-critical frontend applications in a dynamic environment.
Position Overview for the React Developer:
- Develop reusable, modular React components aligned with established design system standards
- Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces across desktop and mobile, adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA standards
- Build complex forms, multi-step workflows, and wizards with dynamic fields and advanced validation logic
- Design and implement efficient state management solutions with proper loading, error handling, and data persistence
- Create custom React hooks to encapsulate reusable business logic and enhance code maintainability
Requirements for the React Developer:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with React, including modern hooks and patterns
- Working knowledge of a modern React framework (Next.js preferred)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
- Expert understanding of state management tools such as Redux or similar
- Experience with RESTful API integration and asynchronous operations
