IDR is seeking a Senior PowerBI Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role is within a dynamic industry focused on application development and business intelligence solutions. The position involves enhancing existing systems, updating business logic, and extending reporting capabilities using Power BI.
Position Overview for the Senior PowerBI Developer:
- Responsible for making updates to the SCOR Java applications, including changes to business logic and user interface.
- Extends reporting capabilities to Power BI and the system data model.
- Supports application enhancements, defect corrections, and maintenance in multiple environments.
- Performs coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Ensures code coverage, testing, and security policies are maintained, with availability for on-call support as needed.
Requirements for the Senior PowerBI Developer:
- Experience with Power BI (minimum 8 years)
- Strong SQL skills for relational databases (minimum 8 years)
- Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform (minimum 8 years)
- Proficiency with JUnit and unit test development (minimum 8 years)
- Preferred experience with Angular UI Framework (minimum 4 years)
