IDR is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC.
This role focuses on supporting enterprise technology initiatives by enhancing reliability, scalability, and observability across diverse application and infrastructure environments. The company operates within the technology and cloud industry, prioritizing innovative solutions and operational excellence.
Position Overview for the Site Reliability Engineer:
- Support enterprise technology initiatives by driving reliability, performance, scalability, and observability across application and infrastructure environments.
- Partner closely with development, architecture, and operations teams to incorporate non-functional requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Serve as a technical leader for reliability and production stability initiatives, emphasizing automation and observability tools.
- Ensure applications are production-ready with an emphasis on resilience, performance, and high availability.
- Support scalability, resiliency, and production stability through proactive monitoring, automation, and performance engineering.
Requirements for the Site Reliability Engineer:
- 6–9 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Strong hands-on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
- Experience implementing SRE principles and best practices.
- Strong experience with observability tools including Splunk, Dynatrace, and Prometheus/Grafana.
- Experience developing dashboards, monitoring solutions, and automated alerting.
