IDR is seeking a Systems Engineer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity! This role involves supporting, designing, installing, customizing, and maintaining servers and associated components. The company operates within the technology sector, focusing on infrastructure and system solutions.
Position Overview for the Systems Engineer:
- Support and maintain enterprise-level server environments, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Design and implement cost-effective IT solutions tailored to the organization’s needs.
- Manage system updates, patches, and user access to enhance security and efficiency.
- Assist with prototyping, testing, and deploying new systems or components.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues, providing break/fix support as needed.
Requirements for the Systems Engineer:
- 5+ years of business experience using and supporting Active Directory, computing, and network technology in an enterprise environment.
- Strong support experience with Active Directory and related technologies such as ADDS, Azure Entra ID, AD Connect, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Certificate Authority, and RDP licensing.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and TCP/IP subnetting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and sponsors.
- Demonstrated experience in system design, installation, and maintenance with a focus on security and scalability.
