IDR is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Arizona. This role focuses on full-cycle recruiting within the construction industry, primarily staffing high-level roles on mission-critical infrastructure projects such as Data Center Standup Projects. The company operates within the construction and general contracting sector, emphasizing project staffing and talent acquisition.
Position Overview for the Talent Acquisition Specialist:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for construction and corporate positions, including project managers, superintendents, engineers, and support staff
- Partner with hiring managers and department leads to understand workforce needs and create effective recruiting strategies
- Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, networking, social media, referrals, and industry-specific outreach
- Screen candidates and coordinate interview processes, including virtual and onsite interviews
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking and reporting to ensure a smooth hiring process
Requirements for the Talent Acquisition Specialist:
- 8-10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the construction or general contracting industry
- Previous experience recruiting at an agency focused on construction or corporate hiring with construction general contractors/subcontractors
- Experience using ATS systems such as Oracle (ORC) or similar platforms
- Proven ability to manage high-volume requisitions or difficult-to-fill roles like superintendents and project managers
- Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume, or niche industry databases
