Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Telecommunications Technician: The Telecommunications Technician will focus on the interaction between computer systems, communication methods, and devices. They design video, data, and voice communication systems. They may oversee the installation and maintenance of these systems, including their repair and testing.
Required Skills for the IT Support Technician:
4+ years of experience designing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting voice, video, and data communication systems in an enterprise environment
Hands-on experience with Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA collaboration with communication technologies
Strong knowledge of Cisco Call Manager (CUCM) administration, configuration, maintenance, and issue resolution - Cisco Call Manager certification preferred
Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and support the installation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of communication systems
